The show promises to stir the hornet's nest by bringing forth social prejudices and taboos. But just after one episode it is facing a different kind of controversy.
Euphoria lead singer Palash Sen has alleged that parts of the show's 22-minute long anthem song has been copied from a Euphoria song, also called Satyamev Jayate, from their 2000 album Phir Dhoom.

Sen claims that the chorus of the song is exactly the same as the chants in his song from his second album Phir Dhoom.
It is surprising that Sen did not hear the song for so long and had no cognisant of the composition by Ram Sampath. It is only now when the first episode went on-air Sen sit up and took action.
He said that he hadn't seen the videos earlier and when he saw, he was shocked. He was informed earlier by many loyal fans about the similarity of the two choruses.
Palash claims that Aamir's team had never sought permission to use their song. He was quick to add that if they had approached he would not denied permission. All he would have asked was credit to Euphoria.
Star India, which holds the telecast rights; have received a legal document on the copyright issue. But before they take any action they will go through the authenticity of the allegation.
Aamir has been earlier accused of not giving credit where due. In 2009, the super success of hit film '3 Idiots', based on Chetan Bhagat's Five Point Someone, was dampened by the author accusing Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani of using more parts of his book than he had been given credit for.
